Using Your Core Values to Create Perfect Days
Today in the Everyday Ayurveda Course we talked about CORE VALUES, and it was so awesome that I made a video for you about it (click here to check it out!):
Now you might be thinking.... What do core values have to do with Ayurveda?
In a word: EVERYTHING.
Here's the thing: Ayurveda gives us sooooo many recommendations for daily actions for whole body well-being.
Movements
Tools to use
Herbs to take
Breathing practices
Oils
Dietary suggestions + meal spacing recommendations
So many, that literally nobody has time to implement all of them (though I have tried and will continue to try).
So, how do you choose what's going to work for you? (aka what to implement that will make your life feel easier and less chaotic not harder and more time consuming)
First of all, in the Everyday Ayurveda Course, we learn about our Dosha, or Ayurvedic mind body type, and any imbalances that might be showing up for us.
Understanding this can help you narrow the list of what's going to be beneficial... but it'll still be a long list.
So I want to make sure that my course members are starting with the things they will likely actually enjoy.
And we figure out what those things will be,
by first figuring out EXACTLY what an enjoyable life looks like to them.
Insert the Core Values exercise.

This list becomes a super quick way to check in with yourself in making any kind of decision;
"should I add this to my morning routine"
