Golden Milk (aka a turmeric latte) is naturally sweet, nourishing and heavy. It's great for inflammation, and helps with digestion. It’s the perfect replacement for evening snacks, helping your body break down your dinner so you can get restful sleep.
Golden Milk’s key ingredients are loaded with anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric and ginger have been observed to improve memory and brain function. Cinnamon and ginger lower blood sugar levels. Turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon alike have antibacterial and antiviral properties, giving a delicious immunity boost.
And…. it’s tastes unbelievable. Like a warm hug from a warm friend.
TO MAKE THE BEST TURMERIC LATTE YOU’LL NEED
1 cup whole cow's milk or almond milk
1 tsp turmeric
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp coconut oil
Pinch black pepper
½ - 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
In a small saucepan, warm the milk, uncovered, over medium-high heat for 2-4 minutes, or until you see steam rising out of the pan.
Add all other ingredients, except honey, and whisk until combined. Pour into a mug, sweeten with honey (if using).
